Description: Asmerelda Novuel Osborne is a fifteen year old dhampir (half-human and half-vampire). She has the ability to heal anything physically, emotionally, and mentally. When she moves away from the Dhampir Counicl to pursue a life with her college-age sister, Vasilisa, she finds out that she has more to worry about than passing the tenth grade.
Then she meets the Samuels, a vampire family who befriend her and they teach each other a few lessons. The closer they become, the more Asmerelda finds herself in love with Benjamin Samuels.
Then when everything starts to fall into place, danger comes and suddenly, Asmerelda has more to lose than her life like Benjamin or Vasilisa. Asmerelda has to choose between risking her life to save the two people who matter most to her or running away to the Dhampir Counicl.
