Contest: June Role-Play Summer Face-off
Description: Think you can Role-Play? Want to Role-Play and win something?
Come join the 1st Annual Role-Play Summer Face-Off. This is the first of two one-month role-play competition where RPers will face-off to see who can write the best role-play stories. Prizes will be optional gift cards to either Best Buy, Starbucks, Barnes & Noble, Wal-mart or GameStop. Stories will be judged by peers based on reviews and rating. May the best RP story win.
How does it work? Members form teams as large or as small as they want and write a roleplay that will captivate users. They have about a month to make the best role play possible and earn the highest reviews. To enter, simply start a new RP on or after the start date of the competition. After the end date, there will be a one week period in which members of the community will review and rate each RP. Every member only gets one rating per RP. Winners will be decided after that one week.

It is suggested because the way RP is conducted on this site that the each person gets use to the set up before the competition begins.

Rules:
1. God Moding: No God Moding (controlling) of each other characters. Controls of other minor characters are allowed. Teamwork and cooperation is a must.
2. Minor Characters: Up to a max of 2 other minor character may be used.
3. Original Characters Only: The creation of original characters is allowed only. No stealing of characters from books, movies, televisions, anime, movies, and especially copyrighted material.
4. A max of 8 people per team for the community RP Competition. This is done so larger communities do not have an unfair advantage over smaller ones.
5. Have fun and be creative
Regulations:
1. Time Frame: Role-plays may be started on or after the start date and must have the last modification before 12:00 pm on the end date. Starting before the start date or ending before the end date will result in a disqualification.
2. Originality: All stories must be original. No copying stories from other RP forums. Copying will be result in disqualification and we will check.
3. Prizes: Prize value will be divided equally between Scribe Master and Co-Authors.
4. Subject to Change: Rules are subject to change but only as situations arise.
Prizes: $200 gift card card to one of the following: Best Buy, Starbucks, Barnes & Noble, Wal-mart or GameStop. Winner chooses which one.
There will be a winner in the following two categories: Best RP as a community, and best non-community RP.
