Scribe Share is an online writer’s community that allows writers of all genres ( novelists, poets, non-fiction and fiction writers, screenplay writers, and those who just love to write) to test their creativity while interacting with one another to sharpen their writing skills. Authors have a writer’s journal for each story that they write. This allows writers to log and access their story ideas at any time from any computer. This can assist the Scribe Masters (the creators of a particular piece of literature) to plot their ideas and plan their stories before they begin writing them. Scribe Share also encourages its writers to use their logged ideas and work together with other members to create stories within the online community in any genre they choose. You can create original pieces of literature while developing your team building and management skills.
A writer's journal is where many great writers have been known to start developing their best selling stories before ever sitting in front of a computer or putting a pen to paper. The writer's journal on this site will allow users to easily plan out their stories. In this online writer’s Journal, each member is able to create characters, settings, their own societies and/or groups of people, and even a myriad of different items and objects that they can imagine . Anything is possible if you can think of it. All you need is imagination. Additionally each Scribe Master is able to make a chapter outline for each chapter in their piece, making it much easier to develop the story as you go along without having to flip through a handwritten journal. There is also a section specific to note making, where writers can make notes to themselves about the story they are working on. This online writer’s journal is easily sorted so that information can be found without delay. Each individual piece of Literature has its own journal for ideas that are easily accessed with the least amount of searching.
This site is not to be confused with a general Role Playing site. Each member of Scribe Share will have the ability to be a part of multiple stories in multiple genres playing multiple characters. Also, unlike a standard Role Playing site which separates characters, settings and stories into separate forums, Scribe Share keeps every aspect of the role-play together in one location. Scribe Masters can also determine how many people they want to be part of the role play and what privileges they have within that role-play. Viewers of the role-play can easily view and read about the characters, setting, weapons, powers, and every aspect of the role-play thanks to Scribe Share’s unique way of viewing literature. Controlling every aspect of the role-play can be accomplished through the writing journal, taking role-play to the next level.
With Scribe Share’s Collaborative Writing feature, writer’s block is a thing of the past. Our members have the option of writing with only one creative mind or many. Each Scribe Master has the ability to choose how many authors they would prefer to help them develop their piece(s). Working in twos, threes, or even tens, members of the Scribe Share Community will be able to create all forms of literature from fictional short stories or novels, to biographies, screen plays, poems, and much more.
Scribe Share’s Community Commentary feature allows the collective population of fellow writers and community members to view and comment on each other’s work. This provides a great opportunity for Scribe Masters to monitor how other readers are receiving their pieces of literature. At the same time, this feature allows writers to read pieces of literature by other authors and make constructive comments about them to help improve the impact of the piece, even if they are not a part of the creative process for that particular story, essay or poem. Think of this feature as a free workshop session that is usually offered in college level courses. Members of Scribe Share get to know each other’s work very well and, in so doing, they learn each other’s strengths and weaknesses, which can be very helpful during revision time.
